Research projects
CBELSA/TAPS at ELSA
The CBELSA/TAPS experiment is a fixed-target photoproduction experiment located at the Electron Stretcher Accelerator (ELSA) in Bonn investigating the bound states of the strong interaction. It is one of three experiments worldwide able to perform experiments with polarized beam and target.
PANDA at FAIR
The PANDA experiment will be one of the future experiments at the Facility for Antiproton and Ion Research (FAIR). Investigating the annihilation of matter with antimatter new and possibly exotic particles will be searched for.
INSIGHT at ELSA
The new INSIGHT@ELSA-experiment, as important part of our new cluster of excellence "Color meets Flavor", is presently set up at our local electron accelerator ELSA. The experiment opens up worldwide unique possibilities as it features a unique combination of an almost complete angular coverage for high-resolution photon measurements, charged-particle detection and the ability to perform measurements using a polarized beam and a polarized target.
