The group attends NSTAR 2022 Workshop in Italy
Our research group participated in the 13th International Workshop on the Physics of Excited Nucleons (NSTAR 2022) held from October 17 to 21, 2022, in Santa Margherita Ligure, Italy. The workshop focused on the latest developments in nucleon excitation studies, bringing together experimental and theoretical insights into baryon structure.
First full readout with SADCs instead of QDCs
The CBELSA/TAPS experiment in Bonn has successfully completed its first readout using a full SADCs (sampling analogue-to-digital converters) setup instead of traditional QDCs (charge-to-digital converters). This upgrade allows higher data collection rates and improved feature extraction capabilities.
First neutron photoproduction measurement at the CBELSA/TAPS experiment
In October 2018, the CBELSA/TAPS experiment in Bonn successfully performed its first photoproduction measurement of neutrons. This was made possible by modifications that increased the trigger efficiency for neutral final states.
Successful completion of beam time at ELSA in December 2017 after upgrade of the experiment
Following major upgrades to the CBELSA/TAPS experiment in Bonn, a new data collection period began in December 2017 after a long pause. The short but intensive run lasted a few weeks and promised valuable insights into hadron physics.
